Living in A Jeep Full Time

Living the Jeep Life is no easy task. However it does come with so many amazing adventures. Tanya and I moved into our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon full time about 1 month ago. We had been preparing and practicing all year to become full time overlanders. Our short week trips were easy relaxing and fun. Full time is an entire different ball game. We said goodbye our home in late September 2020. We headed up to try some fishing along a section of the Dniester River. That week was a terrible disaster. We found ourselves completely disorganized and uncomfortable. The weather turned foul, we packed up the Jeep and rushed out of the river bed to find shelter in local forest not too far away. That evening, a heavy tree branch came hurling down and thump, landing right across the hood of the Jeep. Ouch! Again, packing the Jeep and moving to an open space to sit out the storm. We ended up making a nice campfire along side of a dirt road behind a billboard, regrouping ourselves, and drying out our soaked clothes and shoes. This spot was not so bad, we started to feel a bit comfortable again and refreshed.

Refreshed,we decided to head back into the Carpathian Mountains. There was a place we always wanted to visit, the south side of Mount Hoverla. There is a camp spot we wanted to head to called “White Elephant”, though never being there before it gave us an uplifting mood. Google Maps showed us a 3 hour drive, of course not being the case, we slept again uncomfortably in the front seats on an off beaten path. In the morning we drove to White Elephant, not being what we wanted and tired, we continued our drive forward past White Elephant. It was mid day and we just wanted to find a camp site and setup camp for a few days and relax in a peaceful environment.

Dzembronya! WOW! We found camp, even with rain the first few days, we were completely at peace. Our few days turned into an entire month. Too much to write, … Check out the video of everything wonderful that happened to us at this camp location: ( Dzembronya to Pip Ivan – Carpathian Overland S1~Ep1 ) Rock and Roll!
