We said goodbye our home in late September 2020. We headed up to try some fishing along a section of the Dniester River. That week was a terrible disaster. We found ourselves completely disorganized and uncomfortable. The weather turned foul, we packed up the Jeep and rushed out of the river bed to find shelter in local forest not too far away. Oh how I can smell it. Sitting here at my desk at my home base office, impatiently waiting for winter to arrive, I feel the urge to stand up and head outside. Standing on the green freshly cut grass wearing just a pair of pink shorts, no shoes, no shirt, watching the clouds roll heavily over the mountains pass, as the frigid cold wind takes me in her arms, on this last week of summers end, just before autumn begins, she embraces me all around and I listen to her as she gently whispers to my ear, “I’m coming heavy this year”.

Sitting at my makeshift wooden table and wooden chair glimpsing out the window and seeing the mountains give rise a football field distance away having the inspiration to finish this incomplete website that has been sitting unattended to for the last year. I have been reluctant to get back in the chair and hit the keyboard again. It has been many years since I picked up the keyboard and actually got back into my profession as a dev and website designer. I lost that desire completely when I started spending time hiking, camping, skiing and overlanding right here in my very own backyard, the Carpathian Mountains.
